It has been quite a while since the film ‘Nippu’ was announced. This was to have Ravi Teja as the hero while Gunasekhar was the director with YVS Chowdary being the producer. However, not one noise has been made after the announcement. Now, another update has arrived.
Sources say the film has been shelved forever and the reasons are yet to be known. Meanwhile, it is heard that Ravi Teja is showing interest to work with director Siva of ‘Shankham’ fame. Also, Ravi Teja is reportedly keen on commencing a project with the senior director Vamsi as well.
Mixed opinions are coming from filmnagar regarding this. One version is “Gunasekhar takes a long time to shape up the script that’s why the delay, the project may not be shelved.”
The other version is “YVS must be working out the budget and given his track record, he must be finding it difficult to get financiers, that could be the delay.” Well, the coming days will give a clear picture on this.
Allu Arjun joins the league of Chiranjeevi
While many still consider it to be a flop, Allu Arjun’s Badrinath has reached another milestone recently. The film has crossed 6 Cr share in Ceded. Only few films of actors like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Rajnikanth, Charan and Jr NTR have crossed this landmark figure before. Overall the film is the second highest grosser of the year after Mr Perfect. The high budget and selling price have been the movie’s downfall along with poor content which resulted in bad word of mouth and it’s because of those factors the film is still considered to be a flop by many.
Ramcharan is more aggressive than Chiranjeevi
Megafans have seen their hero Chiranjeevi become megastar and rule telugu cinema.
But he has always tried to project himself as a calm natured and well behaved person.
He is the one who came up in life by his Swayam Krushi and became Annayya for everyone who admired him.
His nature and acting skills have won him many fans but also few jealous enemies who always tried to take advantage of his soft nature and defame him and his family.
While megafans are enjoying these strong replies, frank and hard hitting nature of charan, seniors are scratching their heads on how to control him.
Ramcharan, jet-setting between Hawaii, Hyderabad and Sri Lanka, where he is currently shooting, the actor says he is surprised that one little comment has ended up making so much noise! “Frankly I think too much time is being wasted on trivial things,” says Charan.
But senior members of the fraternity are not taking kindly to this spunky new generation that loves to speak its mind. charan is not the only one who is stepping on toes once too often. The industrywallahs who’ve gotten used to the constant worship by yes men around them are rather irked with the likes of Rana, Siddharth, NTR Jr, who shoot their mouths without once being apologetic about it.
Charan admits that things are changing, and this time, for the better. “I think young people never spoke out against anything. It’s time they voiced their feelings and stopped taking things lying down. We have a right to opinion… Someone must start speaking up. That’s what’s happening right now.”
Will this create two new camps in Tollywood – the young and the old, constantly clashing on everything from ideas to ideals? “I don’t know if we should consider these as camps… The young and the old may be constantly clashing of late, yes. But then it’s not like everybody senior is out there to get us young guys! Like my dad (Chiranjeevi), Venky (Venkatesh), they are all senior. They don’t bother about such things. It’s just a few guys who are picking on us. I don’t think I want to give this anymore importance than it deserves,” he quips.
After attacking Dasari on twitter, young hero is defending his remarks saying there is nothing wrong in speaking with open mind.
“I think this is time for youngsters to express their opinions. There is nothing wrong in speaking with open mind. Someone should start it. That is what is happening right now. Though my dad is a senior hero, he never got into such things. He always encouraged young talent in the industry. There are only few seniors who are constantly trying to overpower us,” said Ramcharan inspiring the young heroes and megafans.
