Story behind Pawan Kalyan's character of Micheal Velayudha in 'Teenmaar'

Trisha Interview about Teenmaar in Maa

"TEENMAAR" EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY "RAHUL PULI"

Rating : 4.75/5

The producer of the movie Ganesh Babu sponsored mega promotional activities for the film.
Pawan Kalyan has shared the screen space with Trisha. Both of them have looked smashing together in TheenMaar.
The audience has loved the movie and it is expected to be a bigger hit than Kushi in 2001.
The Audio Songs have already been rocking the charts. The Director has done complete justice to the script.

Story

Story opens in Varanasi with the introduction of Arjun Palwai & Michael Velayudham. Michael works as chef in an Italian restaurant in Bangkok and aims to turn as a stock broker at New York stock exchange. In the meantime Michael falls in love with Meera (Trisha) and in no time they were seen in relationship. After a year, Michael who doesn’t believe in long relationships breaks up with Meera and celebrates the break-up party.

Senapathi, the restaurant owner narrates Michael, the life story of Arjun Palwai that took place 30 years back in Varanasi. Arjun Palwai is a student leader and he falls in love with Kritikharbandha. Arjun is serious about his love and wants to make it long lasting with marriage. He speaks to Kriti’s father regarding this for which the later disagrees. On the other hand, Michael and Meera who breaks up can’t get over each other though they find hard in finding their new one’s Johna and Sudhir (Sonu Sood). Arjun’s love story influences Michael and he slowly changes his nature towards love and long standing relationship. He now tries to get back his love Meera. How does Michael and Arjun Palwai succeed in their love is to be watched on big screens?

Performances :

Pawan Kalyan is back with a bang and how! If there’s one scene which would summarize how good is he in the film, it has to be the one where he realizes how much is he in love with his girl. He understand what a fool he has been to not realize it for so long and at that precise moment he feels liberated from all sorts of doubts about love and relationship. In between, he vents out his frustration on his boss who has no idea what’s going through his employee’s mind. This scene, undoubtedly, brings out the best from the trio – Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram Srinivas and Jayant C Paranjee. Teen Maar – Celebration of Love lives upto the expectation and does justice to its genre. It’s a story of new age relationships which seem to be the order of the day. Directed by Jayant C Paranjee, the film has Pawan Kalyan, Trisha, Kriti, Donna and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.

All other performances are adequate.

Technical Departments :

Music : 2 songs are good on screen. Mani last his midas touch when it comes to BGM. Second film in a row he spoiled with his BGM. First one is sakthi FYI. BGM could have been lot better.

Cinematography : Color tints used were good. Screes looked energetic when michael on screen and little dull when Arjun on screen.

Editing : Switch between michael n Arjun is there in the movie many times. But the transition was smooth on screen. But few scenes exceeded the length which were not addressed by the editor. movie seems very slow in some parts of first half and major portion in the second half. Editor should share the blame along with the screenplay writer.

Dialogs : Trivikram pen was power packed in last 20 mins before the interval. the flow in the dialogs was awesome. There were some good dialogs here n there. On a whole not the best work for his caliber. my fav dialog "sampaadisthe dabbu vasthundi kaani, samskaram kaadu". But he did helped the movie in a big way.

Bottomline: It’s still a mystery as to why a fine love story like this has been named as ‘Teen Maar’. Leaving aside this confusion, the film is a good love story with Pawan Kalyan’s solid performance, Trivikram’s well-etched script and Jayant C Paranjee’s direction. Do watch the film; you never know which among your forgotten memories might catch your imagination and make you fall in love all over again. Teen Maar is a safe bet this summer if you are looking for a romantic entertainer and why not, especially when you hear murmurs that this may very well be Pawan Kalyan’s best work in this genre since Khushi!

Differences between Teenmaar and Love Aaj Kal

Teen Maar movie is ready for release in less than 3 days and people who have seen the first copy claim that this would be an entertainer on par with Jalsa.

Trivikram’s dialogues delivered with Pawan’s style will make this movie appeal to viewers in A and B centers. Episode with Florence Brudenell-Bruce is same and Pawan Kalyan plays Michael Velayudham, a master chef’s role at a restaurant in South Africa, which is owned by Paresh Rawal.
Trisha is an archeologist, who plays his girl friend but that don’t feel they’re in love. Later she moves back to india where she works at mysore and Pawan moves to USA for his work. Trisha marries Sonu Sood but is not able to forget Pawan. Paresh narrates his flashback where he fought for his love in Varanasi.

This Varanasi episode is the only major difference between original movie and telugu version. While Saif Ali Khan played a silent sardar in flashback of Rishi Kapoor, Pawan plays an aggressive revolutionary student leader from telangana, named Arjun Palvai.
How Arjun palvai gets his love in form of Kriti Kharbanda is narrated parallel to Michael Velayudham’s love story.
