Ramcharan supports restrictions on non telugu actors by MAA
Ramcharan Tej has supported MAA(Movie Artists Association)’s plan to implement a rule that non telugu speaking artists number should be reduced in telugu movies and local talent should be promoted.
At the moment, nearly eight to 10 actors in the Telugu film industry are from Bollywood, Kollywood and Mollywood.
Actors from other industries are hogging the limelight and the actors’ guild intends to reverse the situation to safeguard the interests of thousands of artistes in Andhra Pradesh.
“We are going to hold talks with producers to hire more Telugu actors since our motto is to safeguard the interests of Telugu artistes,” says actor Sivakrishna, vice-president of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA).
“The bone of contention of 600-odd Telugu artistes is that dream merchants are violating the permissible limit of female leads, villains and other key characters and roping in other language actors for even cameo roles. In the process they are depriving hundreds of Telugu artistes,” rues O. Kalyan, ex-chief of the cine workers union.
Ramcharan adds, “I think this rule should have come a long time ago. This will go a long way in promoting and encouraging local talent. As an actor it’s my duty to see this is followed henceforth,” .
But, B-town star Sonu Sood who is also making waves in Tollywood, argues, “It’s an unfair ruling since many actors from the South are working in Bollywood and vice versa. Talent and popularity of a particular actor should be the criteria that counts,” he reasons.
However, Tamil reigning star Karthi, who is making his T-town debut says, “I don’t know much about the ruling but I would abide by any regulation imposed by Tollywood.”
Ace filmmaker Suresh Babu and chief of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, whose son RaNa is making inroads in Bollywood, says, “It’s not easy to implement such stipulations. In fact, tinsel world is shrinking and talented actors are showcasing their skills in different languages. Apart from the suitability for the role, sometimes his talent and popularity could add value to a project. Having said that, I agree local talent should be encouraged too.”

Storyline: Seenu (Ram), who didn’t even complete his graduation comes to city with an aim to complete degree. But he falls for Shruti (Hansika) at the first sight and comes to know that she is facing problem with a thug Bhavani (Sonu Sood), who wants to marry her against her wish. Seenu confronts Bhavani and a challenge from Bhavani gives an opportunity for Seenu to win Shruti’s love. One Seenu gets over Bhavani, he falls into a bigger problem called Rajanna (Jaya Prakash Reddy). Rajanna’s daughter Sandhya (Aksha) loves Seenu at first sight and asks her father to get her married to him. Now, Seenu has to use his brains to get out of this problem as he knows that sheer muscle power isn’t enough to get over Rajanna. The rest of the story is all about how Srinu solves the issues with a clever scheme.
Performance: Ram as Srinu, is simply fantastic and his style of action with a tinge of accent added grace to the film. Hansika as Shruti is fair enough but is not given a major role. Aksha carried herself well and performed with elegancy. Sonu Sood as Bhavani justified the role fantastically. Bharamanandam, Srinivas, Raghubabu were humorous and their rib-tickling acting in the movie can be appreciated. Jaya Prakash Reddy as Rajanna was apt.
Technical Aspects: Cinematography is just fantastic and praiseworthy. Locations chosen for the songs were simply superb and added flavor to the movie. Thaman.s music is the biggest asset of the film. The dialogues penned by the director were good. Direction is patchy and not well edited in post interval portions. There is nothing new in the subject line of the story. Content is repetitive and scenes are copied from various films (Brindavanam,Dhee, Ready.. Etc). Narrative is passable, though predictable. Choreography was fabulous perfectly suited
RAHUL's Verdict: The film starts on an interesting note but suddenly the graph of the film slides downwards in the initial reels itself. It starts holding the attention of the viewer’s towards interval portion. Unpredictable spins and curls in the second half will keep the people engrossed but the pre-interval portions might cause weariness. Overall, A good attempt by director to keep audience entertained.
Final Word: Paisa Wasool Entertainer

After the two successive love entertainers Ye maya Chesave and 100% Love, this time Naga Chaitanya is trying for different image with this new movie Dhada. He has already proved himself for the lover boy roles with his last two movies. This time he is trying to prove as action and mass hero as well.
Storyline:
Vishwa (Naga Chaitanya) and Rajeev (Sriram) are brothers. Vishwa, who is an adventurous NRI, saves a girl from a drug gang which in turn affects the multi crore businesses of human trafficking, run by RD (Rahuil Dev) and Kelly (Kelly Dorjee). RD starts to hunt for Vishwa. Besides this, love story between nag and kajal runs parallel to the main story. Story is very simple with few twists.
Performances:
Naga Chaitanya has toned down his body and looking stylish and lean in his new Avatar. He improved tremendously in all departments compared his earlier movies. He is stylish in some costumes and he has also improved a lot in dialogue delivery. Kajal too looks quite different and indeed wore a kind of chinese style. her dialogue delivery and harityle makes you feel she is uninterested with this role. Ajay Bhuyan has tried to use her skin show as trumpcard but after certain time, it doesn t entice. Sriram has done a neat job. Sameesha as his wife is just adequate. Bharini,Bharamanandam, Ali, Venu Madhav, Uttej were wasted.
Technical Aspects:
Dhada storyline is perplexed. Direction is good in parts, but eccentric most of the time. Editing needs to be crisp. Cinematography by gnana shekar is of top class. He captured lush locales in a beautiful way and he has shown Naga Chaitanya and kajal excellently. The graphic-work/color-grading is also good. Devi Sri Prasad excels again with this film in terms of songs and background music.
Rahul's Verdict:
First half of the movie is adequate. But the second half is a complete letdown. Dhada is an example of what happens when the director loses his grip on story and goes on showcasing rich production values.

Vishnuvardhan plans BILLA – 2 with Pawan Kalyan
Tamil director Vishnuvardhan is working with Pawan Kalyan now and after this he is planning to make Billa movie’s sequel as BILLA – 2 with Ajith in tamil.
Earlier Chakri Toleti was supposed to direct Billa-2 in tamil but Ajith wanted Vishnuvardhan.
While working with pawan, vishnuvardhan asked him if he would be interested in listening to Billa-2 storyline, for which pawan said okay but only after completion of this movie.
Prabhas showed no interest in Billa-2 after losing money while producing Billa.
Pawan is already committed to 5 more movies after this and ‘Prince of Peace’.
So it depends on Vishnuvardhan that how fast can he develop his script and convince powerstar for billa’s sequel.

Chiranjeevi is waiting for 'Munnabhai 3'
Most talked about thing of Tollywood these days is nothing other than Mega Star Chiranjeevi's 150th film. Though Chiru is giving only bits and pieces of information about it, fans are eagerly waiting for the flick to commence before building castles out of their imaginations.
A look at the recent past reveals that two out of Chiru's last four flicks are none other than the remakes of famous 'Munnabhai' series. With 'Munnabhai MBBS' turning 'Shankardada MBBS' and 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' to 'Shankardada Zindabad', Chiru made Shankardada a household name. Adding a special 'mega' touch to those Hindi flicks, Chiru enthralled not only his fans but also other audiences.
Now, it is heard in Film Nagar that Chiru is waiting for the third part of Munnabhai to come to re-enter the tinsel town. Buzz from Hindi circuits is that the base work to make the third film in Munnabhai series is already on from director Rajkumar Hirani's side. Already, a third part named 'Munnabhai Chale America' was started and halted. Looks like, they too are waiting for Chiru to comeback as he will be buying the remake rights to give the producers a pre-released profit.
And the interesting line to be underlined is Aamir Khan is playing the lead in this while Circuit role will be played by Sharman Joshi who paired with Aamir in 3 Idiots. It is known that Aamir Khan factor adds big value for the film.
Prince Fans with High BP for 'Dookudu'
Every time a movie from Pawan Kalyan and mahesh babu gets ready for release, there will be enormous hype and sustaining pressure on Fans. More than heroes and producers of the particular project, it’s the Blood Pressures of Fans that goes on fluctuating like a Sine wave. Same seems to be applicable for the film ‘Dookudu’ which has become the most happening subject in film circles.
Already discussions are on about what could be the position of mahesh babu, if ‘Dookudu’ strikes gold at BO or oppositely falls short of expectations? Indeed it might be tough to forecast the position of Fans but positive waves from inner sources of ‘Dookudu’ are projecting the film as just next to ‘Pokiri.’ Business for all the areas is almost done and producers are sitting pretty with table profits. Well, news like this will obviously relax the nerves of Fans and wish that ‘Dookudu’ might take mahesh babu miles high in charisma.

Sesh Adivi feels honour to work with Pawan Kalyan
Writer-director-actor Sesh Adivi('Karma' fame) has revealed his experience working with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in much-awaited film of the year, under the direction of Vishnuvardhan(Tamil 'Billa' fame). The young actor is portraying the main lead villain in the film.
"The role in Pawan Kalyan's film is very interesting and I feel blessed to do something like this so early in my career. It's an honour to work with Kalyan gaaru. He has an aura around him, which is very special. He holds a special place in the hearts of the Telugus, including mine. I used to imitate him during the learning process of my acting career. I couldn't ask anything more," said Sesh Adivi.
Sesh Adivi says working with Pawan Kalyan is a memorable experience in his life.
"Working with Pawan Kalyan is a memorable experience. The director has already shot some crucial scenes on us. Lot more scenes are to be canned in the month of August," said the actor.
Sesh Adivi, who debuted as director and hero with the film 'Karma', is planning to direct his second film in the year 2012. He has also signed a couple of films as a lead actor.
Power Star Fans shaking Rajamouli
A false media speculation has created havoc kind of situation for SS Rajamouli on his Twitter. None knows when Rajamouli went Kolkata to meet pawan kalyan for narration of a story and none knows when Jakkanna has sent a message of never ever doing a film with Power Star, as aired by a popular Telugu TV channel.
The next moment, Rajamouli’s Twitter is filled with harsh and hasty comments from pawan kalyan Fans hurting him for being egoistic. Apparently the ace director is trying to cool their nerves by giving a clear description of not to believe on every rumor aired by TV channels.
‘Hmmm...think b4 u give a statement. What will u do if I do a film with a megahero? (pawan kalyan Tho Movie) Thiyyanu Ani eppudu annano cheppava?’ are tweets from Rajamouli. Indeed this director is a creative professional and never takes these negative comments at heart. On the other side, everybody would love to see him direct all top heroes of industry including Mega family.
Why 3 Nandi Awards for 'Simha'?
balakrishna roared at Box Office with sensational hit ‘Simha’ in 2010. Movie grossed mindblowing figures showing the stamina of a mass film to win Telugu audience. Never to forget, ‘Simha’ gave new life to Balayya when his career was in doldrums. Now, the same film grabbing Nandis for Best Artist (balakrishna), Best Music Director (Chakri) and Best Female Comedian (Jhansi) is something remarkable.
Well, the first one is 100% justified because we have seen balakrishna in a character with different shades while awards for Chakri and Jhansi seem to be the result of lobbying done by Balayya himself, say insiders. Yes, BO Bonanza being a very close friend and classmate to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, the rumor has been strife that three awards for ‘Simha’ is a form of memorable gift from KKR to close friend NBK. This is the benefit of having a Chief Minister friend. May be same do apply even for a Nandi to 'Parama Veera Chakra' in the name of Best Movie on National Integration.

Chiranjeevi is known to have agreed for engagement of ramcharan and Upasana in coming November followed by marriage with in this year end or early next year.
But ramcharan being busy with many projects is known to have asked for two years of time for commencement of wedding for which Chiranjeevi hasn’t accepted. First look of Surya in Murugadoss's Film
First look of 'Ghajini' director A.R.Murugadoss’s new film starring Surya and Sruthi Haasan is out. The film’s Tamil version posters are released. Telugu version’s work has not yet begun but both Tamil and its Telugu dubbed version are to be released simultaneously.
Remember it is with Ghajini that both Surya and Murugadoss have become popular in Andhra Pradesh. Hence their second combination after the Ghajini will have big business craze here in our state.
It seems by the first look of the stills that Surya plays the role of an ascetic or a saadhu. The film has music by Haaris Jayaraj and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran.
